Garant Möbel Malaysia (GMM) holds a master franchise license from
Garant Möbel Asia.
For years, James Ng, Chief Executive Officer of Kian Group of Companies
sought to breathe new life into the retail furniture business. He realised that
three factors were needed for success:

It was based on these three factors that led Kian to take up the
franchise license with Garant Möbel Asia, with the rights to market eight
modules/brands of the Garant Möbel furniture franchise.
The license agreement between Garant Möbel Malaysia and Garant Möbel
Asia was signed on October 3, 2003. Garant Möbel Malaysia was born. Garant Möbel Malaysia is licensed to
market eight brands in Malaysia. The first 2 brands launched are: Homelife - Garant for better living and MER.
GMM expects to open 30 stores throughout Malaysia by 2006.
